Abstract:
Achieving Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN) requires the seamless integration of science, policy, and implementation. This webinar will explore the role of the Land Degradation Neutrality Decision Support System (LDN DSS) and Sustainable Land Management (SLM) in shaping national strategies. A key focus will be on the development of a National LDN DSS SLM system, designed to support evidence-based decision-making. The discussion will also highlight how international frameworks—including IPBES, FAO SLM mainstreaming, and ILUP-ILM approaches—help countries integrate sustainable land use planning into policy and practice. The presentation will provide insights into global methodologies while showcasing practical applications at the national level
