IES Faculty Member Dr. Berat Haznedaroğlu Receives Climate Technologies Award

Boğaziçi University Institute of Environmental Sciences faculty member Berat Haznedaroğlu  was awarded the Dr. Akın Çakmakcı Leading Researcher Award within the scope of the Turkey Technology Development Foundation (TTGV) Climate Technologies Awards for his work on “Development of High Value Added Algae Based Products.”

Dr. Haznedaroğlu stated that being deemed worthy of the award was motivating for national and international research projects carried out in Europe's first and only carbon negative microalgae biorefinery, and emphasized the importance of R&D activities carried out by utilizing microalgae for the green transformation of industry in Turkey and the world.
